When you actually see the "Ex-S" Gundam, its name makes a whole lotta sense; this monster is the king of "excess"! The Ex-S is by far one of the largest Master Grade created to date--and it is hands-down awesome! Not only is the Ex-S awesome in size with its parts jetting out everywhere, but it is also awesome in terms of its weapons, details, and number of parts. However, the first thing one has to think of when looking at this kit is its sheer size. Its H-U-G-E! In fact, the Ex-S is so top-heavy that it cannot stand on its own. Bandai has included a stand with it to solve this dilemma... which isn't a bad idea considering the fragile nature of Master Grades which can easily fall victim to falling over. The Ex-S can also transform into the long-range "G-Cruiser" mode, similar to the Zeta Gundam, and the display stand itself also converts into a mode specifically designed for displaying the kit when it's in ship mode. There are 31 runners of parts are needed to complete this beast! Be sure to set aside lots of time to assemble this guy! NOTE: THIS MODEL IS NOT FOR AMATEUR MODEL BUILDERS!
Like all of the Bandai Master Grade model kits, Ex-S Gundam is completely snap-together with parts that are molded in color, so no paint or glue is needed to complete it. The directions for the model do feature Japanese text, but they also have English lettered and numbered pictures that are very easy-to-follow. This Ex-S Gundam Master Grade model kit is brand new, and all its parts are factory sealed by Bandai Japan.
