The most famous ship from the classic Macross series! The quality Hasegawa is so famous for shows from the second you get this Valkyrie model kit's box. There is cover art by Hidetaka Tenjin, which alone is worth the price of the kit. This is the S variant of the aircraft, which to many people the ultimate variant. Crisp detail thoughout. Panel lines are finely engraved. Swing wings operate. Exhausts can be posed. Sensor packs and landing gear bays all have detail. The thin perfectly printed decals have at least 3 different Valkyries plus additional numbers to make any tail code needed. The painting instructions cover the three primary markings. For those who have struggled through the more dated releases, this model kit is a welcome relief. The instructions are in Japanese, but they are very well done with pictures; so, if you have built a few kits, there should not be a problem. Paint and glue is required to complete the model. Approx 138 parts; 19.70 cm long when completed.
