Scary Tales are the newest dark release from Mezco Toyz, creator of the famous--or infamous—Living Dead Dolls. Fairy tales, especially those written by the Grimm Brothers, were not written to be happy stories for children; they were frightening tales intended for adults. Therefore, Mezco has created the Scary Tales line to present these classic characters portrayed in a more… "accurate" way.
This set offers the line of the first 5 standard Scary Tales releases PLUS the rare Alice Variant figure. The Scary Tales set includes one each of the following: Alice (White), White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Little Red Riding Hood, the Big Bad Wolf, and the rare Variant Alice (African-American in a Purple and Gold dress). All of the Scary Tales figures are individually packaged in a box that looks like a book and opens. Each articulated action figure is greatly detailed and painstakingly sculpted to turn the scariest of tales into wicked figures to be collected and enjoyed. The first series of the twisted Scary Tales contains 6 of the best figures from Lewis Carroll’s "Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland" and the Grimm Brothers’ "Little Red Riding Hood."
