The leader of the heroic Autobots, Convoy (or better known as Optimus Prime outside of Japan), returns again as the fourth installment in the popular Transformers Masterpiece series, and this time, he comes with an actual trailer!
This "Full Complete" set comes with the same 12" tall, intricately detailed and show-accurate Optimus Prime as previously released as the first entry in the Transformers Masterpiece series, a fully functional 34 cm-long trailer, the Autobot Matrix of Leadership, laser rifle, energy axe, and a gun-mode Megatron complete with scope and silencer. Note that Roller is not included in this set.
Masterpiece Convoy is made out of ABS plastic and diecast metal parts and features complex transformation (particularly the torso area), a working suspension, rubber wheels, flip-up wrist communicators and an opening chest to house the Autobot Matrix of Leadership with light-up effect. Even his mouth piece is moveable to simulate Optimus Prime talking! This highly poseable Masterpiece Convoy is fully transformable from robot mode to truck mode that greatly resembles a 1980s style cab-over-engine semi-trailer truck. The trailer can be set in multiple modes including base mode, container cannon mode, outrigger mode, headquarter mode, and repair dock mode.
Like all Japanese Transformers, the instructions for transformation are in Japanese, but they feature clear, easy-to-follow pictures. Masterpiece Optimus Prime is brand new and factory-sealed by Takara.
