 The impressive and exquisitely-designed Strike Gundam, from Gundam Seed, is the latest machine to receive the Perfect Grade treatment! (Click photos above for enlarged photos.) Bandai has designed an all-new, unique inner frame system for this model to match the proportions of the mecha designs in the series. This allows the Strike Gundam PG to be extremely flexible. The waist joints allow it to bend from side to side and twist realistically! The "camera eyes" light up with internal wiring and a single LED. A massive amount of parts are required to create the exceptional detail we've come to associate with the Perfect Grade series -- over 550 ABS plastic parts, all molded in color, plus polycaps for the joints, die-cast joint parts for stability, and--of course--the LED and wiring for the head. (The LED requires one CR1220 watch-type battery, sold separately). Parts are included for a Beam Rifle, Shield, Armor-Schneider blades, and of course the positively enormous Grand Slam sword. The Grand Slam sword is even beautifully plated in silver! The model is pre-colored and snap-together; the directions do have Japanese text, but they feature pictures that are lettered and numbered in English. The Strike Gundam Perfect Grade will be a challenging project for fans of Gundam, of Gundam Seed in particular, or of Perfect Grade kits in general! It is for advanced modelers only!
Please note: the 1/60 Strike Gundam Striker Weapon System (BAN917987) was not designed for use with the Perfect Grade kit, but for the previously-released "Big Scale Real Details" 1/60 Strike Gundam kit with which it was issued.
