 Thanks to a savvy Gundam Store and More customer, Liz from Maryland, the mystery about Da Garn X has been solved!
According to Liz, "Da Garn X isn't a Transformer; he's from the third of the Yuusha (AKA Brave Saga) series of
shows, which were a series of 8 shows made as a
collaboration between Takara and Sunrise that ran from
1990-1997. The King Exkizer and Fighbird figures on
your site represent the first two entries in this
franchise, with Da Garn X being the signature bot from
the 3rd. The show he's from, "Brave of the Legend Da Garn," ran
for 46 episodes in Japan in 1992. The show's premise
is pretty simple at a glance: it's about a sentient,
transforming robot named Da Garn who protects Earth
from alien invaders with the help of a boy named
Seiji, who acts as his 'commander'. Da Garn can
transform into a police car, or combine with an
electric train and jet called the Earth Machines to
become Da Garn X."
